KRISTIJAN JAKIĆ: THE PLAYMAKER

FIRST STEPS
Kristijan was born in Spalato in 1997. He took his first steps in the youth team of Imotski. He was only 15, but he already had great qualities. He was able to be smart on the pitch, passing the ball with precision and timing. He also had a great shot. From 2013 to 2016 he played for his homeplace.
In Spalato he has an exponential growth. He played with quality and professionalism when it was called on the pitch. On 26 February 2015, he was called up for the first time with Croatian National Team U19, in which he played six matches. In 2016 was in the squad for European U19 Championship, and played against England. On this occasion he showed his skills to the world. In 2021 he made his debut with the Croatian first team.

THE QUALITATIVE LEAP
In 2017 Lokomotiva Zagreb bought him for 135 K, in which he played with constancy and determination: he collected 59 appearances and 5 gol. On 25 of April, 2018, he had his first match with Croatian U20 against Italy. In the same year he went on loan to Istria for 4 months. In the summer of 2020 Dinamo Zagreb takes him for 1,2 Million. With Dinamo Zagreb, Jakić made a qualitative leap in his career. He made his debut in Croatian League on 12 September against his old team Spalato. Ways of destiny. Dinamo won 2-1. Four days later his made his debut in Champions League qualification against Ferencvaros. On 8 of November Jakić scored his first gol with Dinamo: an Eurogol under the top corner. In summer of 2021 Krisitjan moved to Eintracht Frankfurt in Bundesliga and now he has the keys of the midfield of the German team and on 18/05/2022 he won the Europa League trophy. During the World Cup in Qatar he reached with Croatia the 3rd place, with the great win over Morocco in 3-4 place final.
