Originally a central midfielder, his versatility has allowed him to be employed as an attacking midfielder or a box-to-box midfielder as well. In addition to his considerable agility and explosiveness, his main qualities are his excellent technique and vision. Together with his spatial awareness, they enable him to play dangerous and unpredictable through balls and contribute to his team with assists and decisive plays, whilst always displaying elegance on the ball.
