Matteo joined AC Milan on July 1st, 2024 from Vallagarina, a youth club in Trento. Since joining this prestigious club, he has been a regular in the Primavera team, participating in UEFA Youth League and other youth competitions. He also represented Italy with 2 caps at the U16 level.

Matteo is known for his strong tackling, excellent positioning, and ability to read the game. His role primarily plays as a defensive midfielder, but he's also capable of serving as a centre-back. He has a great range of passing and his versatility and defensive awareness make him a valuable asset to the team.
